Farewell, Maurizio!

Farewell, Maurizio. Unreachable Genius in the 80s, one of our neighborhood. We remember you with this post written for you some years ago.

1980: Terror at Corvetto

One of the most fantastic memories of my 80s is my grandfather telling me that in our neighborhood (Corvetto) lived a bad guy,

Clothes don’t make the man

I’m about to tell you a real story from thirty years ago. One night, Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant was going to dine with an english friend in a famous Chicago restaurant (I won’t say the name). Plant is in a stylish outfit, but his friend is denied access. He gets mad because he is also wearing a jacket,

Snow and chill

Will we succeed in talking about cold weather, winter and snow for these four days, and celebrate the snowfall of 1985?
In those days we had two things: snow, and a fantastic album called “Gioielli rubati”, stolen jewels. The jewels were maybe 9 songs, stolen by my favourite female singer,

The snowfall of the century

Dear friend dinosaurs, it’s a moment in history, somehow, because 30 years ago in this very moment, it was snowing. No news, you say, it’s january! But it was not just an ordinary snowfall, it was the snowfall of the century in Milan; 1985, 1 yard of snow fallen in 3 days in a row!
